Summary

Wow, it’s the last week of my learning project, so think it’s time to sum up what I did in the last few weeks.

I think my blog can divide into four categories, which are historical and cultural buildings, natural scenes, foods, and the last one arts and humanities.

1. Historical & cultural buildings: In the “Anping” and “Around Confucian Temple”, I introduce several famous historical buildings, such as Anping Fort, Tree House, and Confucian Temple. These buildings are important cultural assets in Tainan, and it’s also an evidence of Taiwan’s history.

2. Natural scenes: In the article “Taijiang National Park” and “Guanziling”, I wrote the natural resources in Tainan. Taijiang National Park is established for protecting the coastal environment. Guanziling is famous for its rare hot spring resources.

3. Foods: I introduce food mainly in the article “Dadong Night Market” and “Yule Street”. But actually, I mentioned foods in almost all the articles. In “Dadong Night Market,” I introduce some delicious foods in the night market, which are really famous there. In “Yule Street,“ I wrote some small restaurants on Yule Street, which I used to eat in at my senior high school time.

4. Arts & humanities: I put emphasis on arts and humanities in the article “Other Wonderful Places in Anping” and “Haian Road”. In “Other Wonderful Places in Anping,” I introduce some beautiful places around Anping, like Sio House. Haian Road is the road of art in Tainan, and many pieces of art are set there. It’s really a beautiful place.

I think in my last post, I should show you a good video about Tainan. It’s not really in English, but I think in the video, what language is not really important.

I hope that after looking my learning project, you’ll know more about Tainan. And I hope you’ll love Tainan. After writing these articles, I think I know more about Tainan, too. Thanks for you following there days.

Haian Road

This week, I want to introduce Haian Road(海安路). Haian Road is full of artistic atmosphere, and I guess most of you would like it.

Blueprint(藍晒圖)
Blueprint is the most famous scene on Haian Road. What is that? It’s a house that paint in blue, then draw the inside of the house on the wall in white lines. I don’t think it’s a good explanation, but if you see the pictures, I think it’s easy for you to know what I mean. Blueprint is really beautiful whether in the morning or at night. However, it is said that blueprint is going to be dismantled due to its unstable structure.

海安亮起來
This work of art is just near the blueprint. When I see this piece of art, I always feel free.

There are also many other pieces of art on Haian Road. You can go and discover them yourselves.

Near Haian Road, there is Shennung Street(神農街). Shennung Street is characterized by its antique style. Many people take pictures there and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Around Haian Road, there is Chungcheng Road(中正路), one of the most popular shopping district in Tainan maybe 20 years ago. And also some streets near Haian Road have plenty of delicious food to eat.
